Vanessa Campos, AMFTTherapist & Clinical Intake Coordinator

    Vanessa is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and the Clinical Intake Coordinator for the Village Counseling and Wellness Clinical team. She specializes in working with teens and adults with Borderline Personality Disorder, as well as clients experiencing emotional dysregulation, self-harming behaviors, suicidal ideation, and substance abuse. Vanessa also provides parent coaching, and treatment for anxiety and depression in both teens and adults.

    Vanessa is a dedicated and caring therapist who is committed to helping clients live their best lives. She enjoys working with teens and adults, creating a save environment for their healing and witnessing their growth and success throughout the therapeutic process. Vanessa is fluent in Spanish and identifies as a Bilingual Latina Therapist.

    Vanessa received her MA in Psychology from National University, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has her BA in Psychology from UC San Diego. She is trained in CPI and crisis management. Previously, Vanessa worked at Evolve Treatment Centers for Adolescents, as well as an educational advisor for Volunteers of America, Upward Bound and a case manager for LA County’s Gain Program.

    Vanessa likes to nurture her creative side, and enjoys crocheting, taking adults piano lessons, and hiking.
