Village Counseling and Wellness’s outpatient treatment programs are designed to provide a higher level of care to people who need more than weekly therapy. We also offer weekly therapy for those clients who don’t require that level of care and who are looking for a more traditional service.

Our team of highly-skilled therapists is available to provide individual, couples, family, and child counseling to clients who do not enter one of our outpatient treatment programs. This option is best suited for:

  • Individuals experiencing mild anxiety or depression

  • Individuals suffering from PTSD or other trauma-related symptoms

  • Families who have a pattern of conflict at home that needs to be addressed

Village Counseling and Wellness uses an evidenced-based treatment approach called Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) at the core of its services and our therapists naturally weave aspects of DBT, such as increasing distress tolerance, mindfulness, grounding, and developing coping skills, into our individual, couples, and family therapy. Our therapists also bring other evidenced-based treatment practices into their therapy work, such as Cognitive Bhavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Seeking Safety, based on the therapist’s training, background and experience.
