Monique is pursuing her Masters in Social Work from USC and is an intern at Village Counseling and Wellness. She specializes in working with teens and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, and challenging relationship patterns.
Monique is a caring and passionate clinician who is committed to helping others heal from trauma. She enjoys supporting clients in improving their mental health and well-being, as well as helping clients who are in recovery from addictions.
Monique received her Masters in Social Work from University of Southern California, and her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from CSU Northridge. She has worked at Behavioral Health Works for the past year, and has experience as a behavioral therapist working with children and teens who have autism. In the future, Monique would like to work as a Corrections Social Worker and plans to advocate for prisoner rights and their families.
