Liz Corpstein, LMFT – Village Counseling & Wellness
Liz Corpstein, LMFTClinical Director of IOP

Liz is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Clinical Director of Village Counseling and Wellness’s IOP. She specializes in working with individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder, emotional dysregulation, anxiety and depression, as well as couples who are experiencing relationship challenges.

Liz is a warm, empathic therapist who works to help clients identify and implement tools to create lasting and sustainable changes in their behavior.  She is a big believer in DBT, and loves teaching skills and educating clients and families about Borderline Personality Disorder and emotional dysregulation.

Liz received her MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, and has her BA in Psychology from Arizona State University. She has been trained in therapeutic modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples. During her training and professional career, Liz has worked at the Domestic Violence Center of Santa Clarity Valley and Clearview Treatment Programs.

“My favorite thing about working with our clients is the ‘small moments.’ Changing long standing patterns is hard, and we often hope for big changes in life. We forget that the small wins along the way are the stepping stones to creating that change. I enjoy celebrating those successes and coming up with creative ways to help you meet those goals.”

Liz enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending quality time with her pups.
