Jasmine Malekan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a valued member of the Village Counseling and Wellness Clinical Team. She specializes in working with both adults and teens who are dealing with multiple diagnoses at the same time, and has extensive training in treating borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia, addictions and substance abuse, and eating disorders.
Jasmine’s unique approach to treatment combines creativity and humor with traditional therapeutic methods. She has been practicing as a therapist for over 7 years, and has worked in both inpatient and outpatient treatment programs.
Jasmine received her MA in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from the American School of Professional Psychology. In addition to her work at Village Counseling and Wellness, Jasmine has also worked as Clinical Director for an inpatient and residential substance abuse treatment center.

Jasmine is a transplant to CA, and was born and raised in New York. She loves painting and playing the violin, two passions that help her to connect to her creativity.
