Angelynn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a vital member of the Village Counseling and Wellness Clinical Team. Her focus of treatment includes trauma, substance abuse, self-harm, and suicidal ideation, and her specialization include EMDR and working with the LGBTQ+ community. She has also worked extensively with survivors of sexual assault/sexual abuse and intimate/partner abuse.
Angelynn is a compassionate and dedicated therapist who believes therapy can bring forth the unique strengths, resiliency, and capacity for healing that all people possess. As a clinician, she believes her role is to support people in exploring and understanding the parts of themselves or past experiences that are the most tender and vulnerable to explore.
Angelynn received her MSW from San Jose State University, with a concentration in Health and Mental Health. During her training and professional career, she has worked at Paradigm Treatment Centers in Malibu, The Maple Counseling Center, CORA in San Mateo, and SAVE in Fremont.
“My favorite thing about working with our clients is the opportunity to work with people in the raw, real, liminal, and life changing space of figuring out how to actually make change and live an intentional and meaningful life, whatever that looks like to each individual.”
Angelynn is semi-fluent in French and enjoys engaging in dream interpretation for herself and anyone else who wants to share a dream or two with her.
